Why The Wellness Clinic Exists

The Wellness Clinic came from my own experience of realising just how hard lasting
change actually is. I’ve lived the cycle. I know the effort, the setbacks, the frustration of doing everything “right” and still feeling like something wasn’t sticking. And what I came to understand is this:
It’s not about how hard you try.
Because most people are trying incredibly hard.
The problem is, we’re not given the right tools, the right support, or the right understanding of what’s actually driving our behaviours in the first place. So, when the weight comes back (which it inevitably does), or the old patterns creep in, people blame themselves and the self-loathing starts.
It’s not a lack of discipline.
It’s a lack of the right framework.

Real Transformation Isn’t About Becoming Someone New
I’ve spent the past 30 years working with clients in health, wellness, physical activity, and mindset coaching. Over that time, I’ve seen the same patterns repeatedly - people trying their absolute best but still feeling stuck.
So, I’ve brought all of that experience together to create coaching that actually supports you at every stage of your journey, no matter where you’re starting from. Not through pressure or extremes, but through understanding, structure, and support.
Because real transformation isn’t about becoming someone new.
It’s about coming back to yourself — and finally learning how to support that version of you properly.
What I Don’t Believe:
I don’t believe in shame or guilt. I don’t believe in extremes or quick fixes.
Because they don’t work long-term, and they leave people feeling worse about themselves when they don’t.
What I Do Believe is this:
Lasting change comes from understanding yourself, not fighting yourself.
It comes from learning why you do what you do, building awareness around your patterns… and creating a way of living that actually supports you - not something you have to constantly try to keep up with.
My approach combines lived experience, coaching, and a deep understanding of behaviour change. Creating a life of Balance and Moderation over perfection – with everything.
There’s no judgment here. Ever.
No “start again Monday” thinking.
No more all-or-nothing.
Self-awareness is the foundation of lasting success because real change doesn’t come from pushing harder. This isn’t about giving you another plan to follow. It’s about helping you understand what’s been holding you back and building
something that works for you long-term.
It comes from understanding yourself better. Just real, honest healing.
